Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid: Production to double to cope with demand

If all those apply – and you already appreciate the Volvo V60 is a very good car to start with – then the V60 plug-in hybrid is a bit of a no-brainer, even with a headline price of nearly £50k (which gets within £6k of an equivalent non plug-in after the taxpayer has chipped in). FH Joanneum Graz Degree Show 2008

Industrial Design students at the University for Applied Science, FH Joanneum Graz, Austria presented their diploma projects in the annual degree exhibition. A total of 16 students enter the course in the first term every year, with nine graduating this summer. The rest of the students will be graduating in the fall.

Kia Soul (2008) : first pictures

The faux-4x4 will be launched at the Paris Motor Show later this year, before going on sale in the UK in March 2009. Underpinning the Soul is an all-new platform but it will lift engines and transmissions from the Ceed hatch, led by 1.6 petrol and diesel engines.
